Faroese

The aim of authors has been to write an up-to-date introductory course in Faroese for the learner to be able to use either by him- or herself or in a classroom environment. The course is designed for speakers of English (and includes American variants where the British English term might be unfamiliar). The Faroese language is presented in an everyday spoken style in the dialogues (including slang), and in various written styles in the reading passages (taken from literature, poetry, song, newspapers, menus, advertising, emails, text messages and so on).
