Foreign Legions

A collection of intertwined short stories that all include a Roman Legion sold into slavery as warriors for corrupt alien merchants. They have been gifted with near immortality and even brought back from the dead - but they were tools for the alien merchants - used to fight and subdue cultures the merchants wished to exploit - along with any wealth that could be gleaned from their planets. Their sometimes extremely brutal use (and always insulting) of other races as slaves had been on-going for thousands upon thousands of years.
