The main purpose of this work is to inform on the progress of two projects of archaeological research and at the same time presenting the symbols or motifs which abound in the pre-Hispanic of the province of Luya, sites especially in the rock art and decoration of archaeological furniture and objects of the culture Chachapoya. Author Klaus Koschmieder is the director of the project Proyecto Arqueológico Jucusbamba, Luya - Lamud, Amazonas.
