Loose ends

WHEN SUMMER COMES AGAIN Shane Colter had left everything behind: his career as a Seattle cop, the memories of his late partner and, most of all, his guilty love for his partner's wife, Summer O'Neil. On a Florida beach, he lay in the sun and refused to remember -- until the day Summer walked back into his life and he began to dream again. Summer had a lead on the man who'd killed her husband, but no one would believe her. Frustrated, she searched out Shane Colter and convinced him to come back to Seattle. He was the only man who could lay the past to rest -- and walk with her into the future.
