About
"This historical survey shows the surprising consequences of mission activities, particularly Bible translation, on African culture. Every chapter has been revised and a new one on the influence of the King James Bible has been added, drawing on the latest scholarship, adding illustrations and new tables of languages into which the Bible has been translated." -- Book jacket.
