About
From a description on AbeBooks "A fascinating and modest story of a medical student who joined the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders in Singapore in 1941 and as a platoon commander fought in Malaya. Wounded and captured, he was able to develop and use his medical skills in difficult circumstances as a prisoner of war in Pudu Gaol, Kuala Lumpur and in POW camp hospitals in Thailand."
